於週六（8月15日）在馬華婦女組推動下，冠香企業與馬華婦女企業發展中心簽署備忘錄， 在這項計劃下冠香企業將提供技職訓練及創業機會，協助國內家庭主婦創業，增加家庭收入，讓女性在經濟上更獨立。

馬華婦女企業發展中心將讓女性們，特別是單親媽媽及家庭主婦們學習一技之長，或協助女性們創業，擁有自己的事業，或在更具彈性的工作時間下，讓家庭主婦兼顧家庭及賺取額外的收入。

出席週六活動者包括婦女、家庭及社會發展部副部長周美芬，馬華婦女企業發展中心董事周淑媛、黃妙霞及籌委會主席梁湘棱等人。
